Ae Dost, Tu Bhi Likha Karr...(You Too,Should Be A Poet, My Friend...)

Jo Hum Hain, Toa Kuch Bhi Nahiin,
Aarzuvein Nahiin thii Kabhii,
Kisi Badshaahat Ki-Baat yeh naa Sahii.

Abhi Toa Hain Sangg Tere.
Ki Saath Chalne Ke Liye-
Hum Hii Naa Rahein Kal.

Reh Jaatii Hain Yeh Khayal,Yeh Baatein,
Aur yeh Sanskar ,Jisey Hamne ,Kabhi -
Seene Se Lagaa Liya thaa..

(Iss Liye Kehte hain tumse , Ae Mere Dost, Tu Bhii Likha Karr...)

Transliteration.....

What I am, Is but nothing,
For there was never , in this heart, ever a longing
To even think ,of Living Life like a Mogul - this small matter not withstanding.

Presently am I here, in your midst,
For , to travel along with you among these journeys of life-
I may not Live so long to see that beautiful day...

What then would remain behind, would be these thoughts, these little talks that we leave behind,
And the culture and traditions, that at some point in time,
I had held close to my own heart, With a Lot of Love........

(And that is why i have this to say to you, my friend, that you too should try your hand at poetry..........)
